Our Founder: CFO turned Buyers Agent
Hi Everyone,
I wanted to take the opportunity to give you all a bit of an insight into my background and my journey as a property investor, professional CFO and Chartered Accountant, and now Buyers Agent.
Sydney born and bred, I was raised and educated in the South Western suburbs of Sydney. I was born into a family of hard-working parents. From a very early age I was fascinated with business and with investing. From following the share market, to spending hours reading through property listings in the local newspaper, I knew I wanted to create something for myself.
After finishing high school, I commenced an accounting cadetship at a local Chartered Accounting firm in Parramatta. From here I embarked on my undergraduate business studies at uni. After my first year of full-time work at the firm I decided to invest my hard-earned dollars. Aged eighteen I teamed up with my brother and bought a 2-bedroom unit in the inner west suburb of Russell Lea. This was the start of the journey.
Upon completing my uni degree I jumped into the Chartered Accounting program and soon thereafter received the Chartered Accountant designation….an achievement I am proud of to this day. My career soon after took me from professional services and into the world of business. I joined Rolls-Royce Power Systems (MTU Australia at the time) and enjoyed a long career that eventually gave me the opportunity to move to London, UK.
After enjoying a fantastic stint in London and travelling Europe extensively my now wife and I moved back to Sydney. After buying the family home in the Hills District of Sydney our portfolio stood at two properties.
From this point on we both agreed we wanted to build a solid financial future for our family and invest for our future. It was never about getting “rich”. It was always about creating wealth that will provide a passive income to give us choice and freedom in life.

· the freedom to enjoy things we love (like travel)
· the freedom to spend more quality time together as a family
The above holds true to this day. I meet a lot of people who want to invest to get rich and get rich quick. I tell them, property is not for you. When investing in property, you need to play the long game!
Fast forward through the years, we have built a diverse multi-million-dollar portfolio spread across three states in Australia. It is a growing portfolio that we continue build and improve. In such a short space of time my family has seen the benefits of what smart property investing can do for you.
I am passionate about property, and equally as passionate about educating people and helping them achieve great results in property, hence why I established BFP Property. As a buyers agent my mission is to understand your financial situation, build a strategy and source quality investment grade properties on your behalf. In doing so I:

· help you take action
· give you access to specialist research
· take the guess work out of “where to buy”
It’s all about taking clients on a journey of sustainable wealth creation. Even at a time when the property markets are under intense media scrutiny, we are achieving fantastic results for our clients. It all comes down to understanding the property markets, the cycles and knowing where and when to invest. This is where the value of using a buyers agent comes into play.
You don’t need a privileged upbringing to be a successful property investor (I am testament to that). It is a wealth creation vehicle available to everyone who takes the time to understand it and has the initiative to take action.
